Hey guys

I am exactly 8 months and 10 days from my wedding, and my coordinator still hasn't asked me for any info for my save the dates, room block etc. I know there are some other brides on here that are getting married after me and have already got this stuff.

Now I know I'm just being impatient but I really want to get on with things, and I'd like to be able to send the letter of agreement back asap so I can be assigned a planner, and start actually doing something for the wedding.

I don't want to sound rude or pushy but do you think I should email and ask? If so, what should I say so that I don't sound awful, because I really appreciate what my coordinator has done for me.

I would call and ask or email and see when you should be getting this stuff....I'm trying to remember when you do get the stuff...I think you get everything after you send back your contract with deposit. Did you do that yet?

No I didn't do that yet, I thought you had to give room block info first? :confused3

Hmm I think you send the room block in with the whole contract. I remember filling out like a big packet and sending everything in together.

Actually my Uncle did the room block for me because he was my travel agent so he took care of that I think.

I just know that after you send in the contract is when you get your Save the dates to you.

Hi there I haven't contracted yet but I already received my room block and STD info. I was told that they could not proceed with the contract without that information. (this was in the email: Per our discussion, here is the information I will need from you to move forward with your contract. ) It also included website information.
I would email, it might just be an oversight.

Hmmmm, I think I'll email. I just don't want to sound awful because I already emailed about 2 weeks ago asking when I would get it, and they just said in september.

We sent in our contract and the room block at the same time and thats when she told us about the stds and we sent in our guest list/addresses and it all went from there!! I think it makes a different if the reception is in the park or night ?

maybe they post the stuff out at the 8 month mark? :confused3 Or just maybe all of the planners do it differently..?

I think emailing is the best option, it won't hurt. Emails are generally better then phone calls IMO...

I thin your right, the planners work differently. I'll email and ask I think because I wouldn't want the contract or anything to be delayed.
