Advice please- we are considering Regal Palms or Liki Tiki...

Tell me the good, bad and ugly!!!!! We are only doing 1 park day and want a place with a great water area (our kids are 4 and 7). There are 5 in our party. I have looked at other resorts, but they are so pricey for our 2 night stay!!!! OUCH!

We are considering these.... Id love some feedback!

Have not stayed at Liki Tiki which is closer to the parks, but have stayed at Regal Palms several times.

The pool area is very nice...just like you see in the pictures. The management, however, was not the greatest and the pool area can get quite crowded depending on what time of year you go because of the number of units there.

But..for the price it is a great deal and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

If you want closer to Disney, I'd suggest Bonnet Creek Resort. It has the lazy rivers like Regal Palms and is right next to the Caribbean Beach Resort. For 2 nights, you can book directly on Wyndham's website...but I'm sure it is more money.

Just wanted to follow up. After reading too many questionable reviews for both (Regal Palms seems to be good, but only when you do VRBO, and very hit or miss direct), and too many questionable to Liki Tiki, we have decided to spend the extra cash and go for Bonnet Creek- although I was very impressed with the Fountains too.
