dj2,
hydster covered it all.
I believe I found my wrist band at drugstore.com for around $50. They also advertised the replacement batteries that were quite expensive. I just bought mine at Target.
I have experienced some problems getting it to turn on. I don't know if I did it somehow or it is just touchy. I now know to take the battery in and out and move it side to side occassionally to get it on. Once it is on, it stays on.
The nice thing about this, is that you know it is in the correct place because of where you feel the pulse in your hand. I also like to use it in the car. Who wants to take meds everytime you are going to get in a car?
