I am helping friends find an economical off-site location to rent but unfortunately I am not familar with the different villa names or proximity to WDW. I found a number of websites for them to check out, the choices are overwhelming to them. They have 5 in their group, 2 adults, 2 teen girls, 1 teen boy and they definitely need 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. They will be there the week of Memorial Day. They understand about Gay Days or whatever and that is not a problem for them. It's basically the only week they can take time off. They are not intersted in staying onsite this time but would like to be relatively close. They will have their own vehicle.

We own a timeshare in Orlando but I don't know how to advise them to go about renting something and getting a good deal.

Can anyone give me an actual recommendation of some properties I could steer them to? As inexpensive as possible. As always, this board is the best resource I can turn to. Thanks for your help.

3-bedrooms are hard to find.

We staying in this delightful place in Lindfields (homes-disney"dot"com). It's a 3 bedroom villa in Lindfields, more than 1700 square feet, well appointed, private pool and spa.

Check it out.

Check the vrbo site for the Windsor Hills Resort! It's great! Very close to wdw, and a new community. We are getting a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo for $75/night! :cool1: :thumbsup2

For this rate, are you renting directly from the condo owner or from a company? the place looks great! Never mind, I just figured out what VRBO stands for !!!

Yes, we are renting direct from owner. If you go to the Windsor Hills home page and fill out the general inquiry you'll receive plenty of emails from owners with condo's/villa's available for the dates you requested.

I have a couple to recommend that are both very close to the parks.

The first we stayed in last summer and loved it. Beautiful house, VERY clean, well themed (very Disney), and the house is on the lake. The owners are great (:wave2: hey Jennifer). Its Torismom who posted above. http://www.briarpatchvilla.com/

The other home our friends rented the same week and we had the opportunity to visit. The decor is a bit dated in this home but the pool (huge) and deck area is AMAZING. They said the owners were wonderful and the house was very roomy. http://www.amazingdays.org/ or http://www.amazingdays.org/photo_gallery.html

I have not heard much about Venetian Bay. Can anyone recommend it, or suggest what to look out for?
