Advice on upping the number of people on an ADR?

We have an ADR for 4 at LTT for dinner in June. We just found out my cousin and her 2 kids are going to be at WDW that same day (the only day we have overlap in our trips). We tried to change our ADR from 4 people to 7 people; no luck so far, LTT's completely booked for that evening. Are there any useful tips for changing the number of people on an ADR, other than just calling back repeatedly and seeing if we get lucky? (We've never changed the number of people eating on an ADR before.)

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

It can be tough to book larger parties, but there is always the possiblity of someone cancelling. If you are willing to split your party you can try to get a second table for 3... otherwise keep calling or you could try booking a different restaurant. Good luck!pixiedust:

Yes I agree you may have to get another table for 3 at or right around the same time. We had to do this and I was told by the telephone CM to arrive about 15 min. before the first ADR, and explain that you would like to be seated NEAR the other party. You may have to wait past your original ADR time(s), but they will try to accommodate you.

Keep calling!

We had this same thing happen to us last Christmas, except we had 1 extra person. I kept calling and calling and there was nothing, so when we showed up for dinner I told them that we had 1 more person join us and would they be able to accommadate us, if they couldn't then we would understand and find somewhere else to eat. It was no problem for them to accommadate us, but again.... we only added 1 more person, not 3.

Thanks for all the kind suggestions. The CM at Disney Dining said they didn't have a table for 3 available at the same time (or any time that evening). They already had a table assigned to us (the original 4). We'll keep calling.

Hi,

I was at the Magic Kingdom today and stopped by LTT to ask them if this would be a problem for you. They said it would not be a problem to seat all of you, but that you may need to wait a little while longer for a larger table to open up.
