I am traveling soon.
1st time to WDW/ Orlando. Adults only.
What would be the best budget friendly transportation?
- I am landing in MCO early and would like to experience Disc. Cove so far it’s looking like an UBER/lyft will be our best bet? We will have are carryons hoping discovey cove will hold them if not than will have to make a stop at at Holiday Inn at Disney Springs.
From Discovery Cove we than need a ride to Holiday Inn at Disney Springs for one night than our longer stay will be at Disney Swan hotel?

We plan on utilizing the Mears shuttle to go back to MCO. Originally we where going to stay only at Sean but added another day to trip and they did not have any availablity.
Any tips or ideas?

How early are you arriving? Doesn't a Discovery Cove visit start early in the morning?

If your flight is delayed or there is some issue you could be in for some expensive disappointment.
I agree with this, I think it's too risky to plan to fly in an go to Discovery Cove on the same day. Part of your ticket includes breakfast and the whole park is intended to be a full day thing. If your flight is delayed significantly you're going to miss out on a lot And I believe you have to make a reservation for the day you want to go in, if you miss it you miss it. I know it's a lot of money, so if it was me I would want to make sure I got my full money's worth out of it. Also, depending when you go, remember in the summer Orlando gets an afternoon thunderstorm nearly every day. The one time I went it was July and we left in the late afternoon because it was storming, but at least we got there early and got to enjoy a majority of the park.

Maybe plan to spend the day at a park with a later closing time (maybe SeaWorld if you are doing DC?), or plan on doing a resort day or a day at Disney Springs when you fly in.

The LYNX 111 Bus (Airport Express) goes from MCO airport to Sea World. (takes about an 50 minutes.)

Get off at the stop on Sea Harbor Drive right before Central Florida Parkway.
Then it's about a 12 minute walk to Discovery Cove on the right sidewalk on Central Florida Parkway. (You could also transfer to the #8 bus that drops you off in front of Discovery Cove but it's probably just easier to walk. Also note that there are two routes for the #8 bus for some reason, one which doesn't go the Discovery Cove way)

You can also take the LYNX 350 Bus from that same Sea Harbor/ right before Central Florida Pkway stop and that will actually go to Disney Springs. In fact LYNX 350 goes right through Hotel Plaza Blvd and there is a bus stop in front of the Double Tree/New Drury Inn. Get off there and then it's like a 5 minute walk to the Holiday Inn.

If you go to www.DiscoveryCove.com, you choose the day for which you want a ticket. TIckets seem to range from $199 to $349 per person for a one-day ticket. Plus taxes and fees. The price is based on the date that you choose. I agree with PP, I would want that to be planned as a full day experience, not a "pop in after my flight lands" experience.

If you want to pop in to Sea World, that's a different story. You can get a Fun Card which gives you unlimited visits between now and 12/31/2022 for $129.99 plus taxes and fees. There are blockout dates:
September 3, October 22, 29, November 26, December 25, 29, 30, 31
I think this is a special offer, so I'm not sure how long it will be in effect.
And I don't know about storing your carry-on bags at the park.
