Advice on timing out of MCO on a Monday

Hi,

SW just released schedule for the week of Thanksgiving. I'll be flying home on Monday after attending Destination D. Using ME.

Choices are 11:05am and 6pm.

It's peak season, so I won't be springing for adding any park tickets. Possibly could take advantage of some time to sleep in and shop, visit some resorts.

Would one of those times be much preferred for navigating ME and MCO?

Flights are priced the same.

Thanksgiving week is super busy, so I'd opt for the 6p flight, then move your DME time to around 2p. The 11a flight would put you on the bus around 7a-8a, not giving much time to do anything.

I was thinking that might be the way to go. I guess I'm wondering if there's any reason to expect lines to become longer as it gets later in the day.

We always try to take the latest flight possible so we can go to MK before our flight so anywhere from 6-8pm depending on prices. I never had an issue with the security lines at MCO, (about 20 minutes) but maybe I'm lucky. Magical express picks you up about 3 hours before your flight.
