Advice on MK on Christmas Day.......

Okay, I know most are just going to say don't go, but dh and the kids (ages 9 and 2) have their hearts set on it, so we are going, so..............

What time does it close for resort guests by, if it closes? Just a ballpark..........10? 12?

Do you think it would be better to get there at opening, leave and come back early pm, or would we not be able to get back in? We don't want to miss the day parade, and have PS for LTT at 5:20.

Would it be better to arrive midmorning and just stay? I'm thinking 10 ish?

We are not really worried about how many rides we can do, as we will have already covered just about everything earlier in the week..........we just might want to fastpass a favorite or two, and catch some shows and atmosphere. But, like I said, we really don't want to miss the parade.

I am with you. We are going to WDW during Christmas to enjoy the atmosphere. We will get to the Magic Kingdom around 7:45 ish for our 8am PS at Crystal Palace. After breakfast we will soak in the atmosphere of the MK, and get some FP for rides. We plan on lining up for the parade 2hrs before. (yes we are crazy!!) We have a PS for Liberty Tree Tavern at 5:30. (maybe we will bump into you) Then after dinner depending on how the kids are we would like to stay for Spectromagic and Wishes.


Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Thumbs up on your adorable Pooh and Tigger! I had a Pooh and Tigger last year.............can you believe when we went to the disney store to get Pooh for my 1 year old, my 8year old wanted to be Tigger to "match" him? Plus, he said, "Hey, mom, Luke will think I'm a character like at Disney World!"

This year, I had a bumblebee and a zombie. Oh, well, can't do disney every time!

Would like to see some disers there! Look for the round Hispanic man, with a round Caucasian wife, and two not so round brown-haired black eyed boys! They will be running everywhere, making tons of noise, and getting us "looks" from every corner. You can't miss us! In fact, the little one will very likely have a kicking, head banging, screaming fit at some point at dinner. Then you'll know it's us!
