advice on getting to Donald's

HELP!! We have an 8:30 a.m. PS at DOnald's Breakfastasaurus on Tues., Nov. 23.

How should we get there??

How early and reliable are the character breakfast busses??

If we drive our own car, will we have any problems getting into the AK parking lot early??

We rode the regular Disney bus to AK last year with a 9:30 PS at DOnald's and were late due to a very long, very unexpected line at AS Sports. THis time we're at POR-Alligator bayou.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!

We had the same problem in January 2003, I really hope they fixed it! We had PS's at 8:30 and we drove to AK, thinking it would be quicker since we were staying at the ASports. They would not let us enter the parking lot until the 5 minutes before opening time. Fortunately, they had a seperate line for PS's to get into AK and we practically ran to Donald's. We still wound up being late but we only had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated.

I'm sure someone will be able to tell you a more up to date report

We took our car last time (September 2003) and didn't have any problems getting into the parking lot. The CM recommended we drive there when I made my reservation for our Nov/Dec trip.

The first bus runs at 7:30. How about making the reservation on an EE day? Go in the park and head to Dinoland, right away.

We had the same time in Jan. and got there with no problems whatsoever with Disney transportation. Although keep in mind it was Jan., and POFQ wasn't open yet. As long as you're at the bus stop early enough you'll get there, never fear

This was two years ago Thanksgiving week so it may not be quite the same as now but we stayed at POR Alligator Bayou and had a 9:00 PS for Donald's. We got out to the West bus stop about 7:30 (we wanted to make sure got there on time). The Character Breakfast bus came by shortly after and we arrived at AK by 8:00. We went ahead and checked in and they took us in early. We were done with breakfast and on our way to the rides by our original PS time.

Maybe check over on the Transportation Board about the Character Breakfast buses. They worked out great for us.

And I'd really recommend getting there way earlier than your PS time. Maybe you will get lucky like we did.
