My extended family of 13 will be headed to WDW in June. My dad has some knee issues, and may need the moving walkways stopped or slowed to board continuous loading rides. Should he get a GAC or can we just tell the CM in the regular line?

Thanks in advance!!

Post 28 on page 2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread has information about attractions with moving walkways and stairs. You can find that thread near the top of his board or follow the link in my signature to get there.

With using a wheelchair or ECV (which he may well need for getting around the parks), he would not need a Guest Assistance Card to board at the area where those walkways can be slowed or stopped. If he is walking in lines, he would need a GAC because the moving walkwys on most of those attractions can only be emergency stopped when boarding at the regular boarding area.

There is more information about GACs inpost 6 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread.
And, in most cases a GAC is given out for a maximum of 6 people (5 plus the person with a disability).
