Advice on BWV and BCV

I am planning on doing a 14 night stay in may 2015 and with a week at our home (WLV) I would like to try either of the above as have never stayed at either and like the idea of being near Epcot. There will be our 2 girls who are 10 and 12. Im not sure how easy it will be to change at the 7 month window as fairly new to dvc.
Can we walk to HS as well as epcot and also which studio is better with the girls. Im from the UK.

You should be able to get one or both of these if you are online right at the 7 month mark. It may be that BW view and/or standard view at BWV will have limited availability. BWV is quite a bit closer to DHS and BCV is a little closer to Epcot. Your girls are at an age where SAB pool is a real draw and the weather will be warm, so maybe BCV would be a good choice (as long as you are okay with not being able to see your girls every minute they are on the lazy river and the water slide). The studios at these resorts are very similar.

Thankyou for the information. Both girls are good swimmers but one of us always watches them . I could not just leave them alone although I know the coast guards are very good.
