Advice on best/most convenient value resort for 2 nt stay

Hello. My preschooler and I are doing MK for 2 days post DCL cruise and was hoping for advice on best value resort to pick given it'll just be me and young child after long days at the park. Most important are a comfortable bed, Disneyism for DS and ease of bus transport to and from MK. Or if there is a fairly good value on a mid resort for Memorial Day wknd 2017 wld appreciate any info from the board. TIA!!!

If you're talking regular rooms (not suites) to me they're all the same in comfort, amenities and ease of getting to the parks. The only choice you have is the bus or your own car. As far as theming goes, All Star Movies and Art of Animation scream Disney and are by far the best in that department. The 3 All Stars are smaller resorts so less walking than at POP or AoA if you aren't in a preferred building. Also the regular rooms (Little Mermaid) at AoA are pretty far from the bus stop.

Actually standard at ASMu are probably your longest (and at night darkest) walk since resort not laid out like other Allstars and POP.

I think he would enjoy Sports, love some of icons at Movies and POP. Google image those two and see what you think.

Great thanks will do!! Follow up question does DCL transfers and ME service all Disney resorts including swan and dolphin? We won't be renting a car just relying on Disney transport so I'm for the most convinient resort with in the value/ moderate range. TIA

We just stayed at ASMo with 3 adults and 2 2yr olds in pack n plays for 3 nights, 2 days at MK and I was surprised at how comfortable the beds were. The room was small and had we spent any time there other than sleeping it may have felt pretty tight but for what we needed for this short trip it was just right. It is the most Disneyesque (?) of the all star resorts and values (except AOA). There are lots of photo ops with large statues from Disney movies, (Dalmations, Toy Story, Fantasia, Mighty Ducks and The Love Bug)We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus, including Magical Express from and to the airport. I had never stayed value before but would definitely consider again if there were just two of us or it was another short trip like this. I was also pleasantly surprised by the food options in the food court. Ate two dinners there and I had the Fish n Chips one night and Beef Pot roast the second. Both very tasty, plentiful and affordable...
