Experienced commando/ go at RD/ use late FP/ never stand in line longer than 10-15 minutes (even in June) Disney-lover here. I am now planning a first week of August trip and am starting to formulate new touring plans for my family. With the new Dumbo queue/fp and fp enforcement, I'm learning all over again. So I have a first draft of a MK morning that I would like advice on. Specifically, I'm not sure if my timing is right for FP returns so let me know what you think.
1. Arrive before RD, stand on tommorrowland side.
2. Head directly to Astro-Orbitor (the kids and I love this ride and it is a SLOW loader). DH grabs FP for SM.
3. Ride Tommorrowland Speedway
4. Great Goofini
5. Tea Cups
6. Ride Space Mountain twice due to Baby Swap. Parent not riding grabs FP for Buzz
7. Take back path (is this still open?) and Ride Dumbo
8. Ride IASW
9. Ride HM
10. Pull FP for PPF while heading back to Tommorrowland
11. Ride Buzz
12. Do Monsters, Stitch (hopefully can talk the die hards out of this one
), and TTA
13. Cosmic Rays for lunch - after we are seated, I'll go get FP for Pooh
14. Ride Peter Pan with FP
15. Ride carrousel
16. See Philharmagic
17. Ride Pooh
So we'll have finished Fantasyland and Tommorrowland without crossing back and forth too much (we're used to commando anyway). Big question is, do I have the FP times right do you think for return times?? And I'm thinking by 2:00 this would all done and we could head out for an afternoon break.
Please no flames. I'm just used to going about my touring a certain way that has worked for us and want to make the adjustment without feeling completely like a fish out of water.
