Hi
I was a Shareholders Club member until about 2003 but let my membership lapse.
Since then Euro Disney has been effectively delisted from the London stock exchange and my paltry 20 shares (which have plummeted in value!) are no longer enough to get me membership of the Shareholders Club.
I've read two other threads on this board discussing the benefits of buying the 500 shares required to become a member of the club. So I need to buy more shares.
But I'm confused, because the other posts suggested it was easy to buy shares online. I have registered for Halifax and Selftrade, but both require me to wait for a form in the postal mail, then send it back with various forms of ID, before my account is validated and I can finally buy the shares.
Is this the same process that the rest of you followed to buy your Disney shares? Or does anyone know of a way I can buy shares online without having to wait several days / weeks for the paperwork and registration?
Thanks
