Advice needed on Go Orlando Card and Kennedy Space Center

Hey, just looking for some advice on Orlando. My boys, boyfriend and I (they are 9 and 11) are coming with me to a conference I have in the Orlando area this November. While I am busy at the hotel, I wanted my boyfriend and my boys to get to know each other better. So I bought them the Go Orlando Card for the days I can't be with them. My question is the card includes a visit to Kennedy Space Center. How far of a drive is it to Kennedy Space Center and do you think my boys will enjoy it? I've heard mixed reviews, but the parents didn't specify if how old their kids were. Also, will you please look at the website and tell me which attractions aren't worth the time? Thanks!

Also, the card includes a free dinner theater show. I thought I would go with them to that. Is Pirates or Arabian Nights better. I was thinking Pirates for the boys--but if Arabian Nights is better, let me know!

Pirates is better unless they are into horses - most boy would have do the pirates.

I didn't enjoy the KSC because I though it would more like the one in Huntsville.It wasn't at all - there were armed guards around some of the stuff you could go in at Huntsville.

so I didn't appreciate KSC as much.

that say - they had an excellent tour and some of their newer exhibits are much better than what I saw.

if they hadn't been to Huntsville they won't know what they are missing - so it should be fine.

Our kids were about 9 and 11 when we went. We thought it was great and totally enjoyed it. We had already been to Huntsville. They are different, but both are very good.
