Advice Needed for Timing of meals

We are looking at doing the Fantasmic Pkg, though not sure based on recent threads today. We travel the end of May so Fantasmic should be a 9pm show. What time what time should I make the reservations?

Also what are the usual hours for the Epcot restaurants? About how long does dinner generally take? We want to ensure time to get to see the evening Fireworks and parades.

Regarding the FDP: I'd take the latest they offer you, and it will be before 5 PM, I'm pretty sure. The packages are set up to fill the restaurants during the slower dining times. I've seen people post that their dining times for FDP ranged from 3-something to about 5:30 at the latest.

We always plan 1.5 hours for dinner, a little less if you're eating earlier (5 PM-6PM) and a little more if later (7 PM and on).

package has been an early dinner, a way to fill the seats at the restaurants. It has been in the 4:00 - 5:30 range.

The particular restaurants appear to have changed lately and Fantasmic shows have been reduced. Here's the May hours:
