i have hired a 7 seater minivan will their be enough room for all of us their will be 5 adults 1 toddler (will be on a booster seat) 1 baby (car seat)

OK the trouble with 7 seaters is that they only really hold 7 people plus 1 suitcase. We had 5 adults in one with 8 suitcases between us and we couldn't all fit in. 3 of us caught the magical express as we were staying in Disney and then the other 2 took all the cases and the car. On the way back we did the same thing as it was the only way we could do it.

I would say with the stuff you need for the baby and kid you may struggle

the other issue you may find is that the baby seat and the booster are slirthly wider than the sea and so unless youhave a super skinny person in you party you may ahve trouble fitting 3 across the seats (f you get what i mean) plus with all the luggage it may be a tight squeeze.

i know next year when we go with all the family we have made the decision to hire two cars, to give us that bit more space.

I don't think it will be big enough.

Minivans are great, we hire one and there are only three of us, however, they are not necessarily ideal for a few people and luggage.

I think you will fit everyone in, but suitcases etc would be a bit of a squeeze.

Having 2 Cars Is Not An Option (only 1 Driver)
So A Seven Seater Would Be Better Then

You will definitely need the bigger size minivan they do, I seriously doubt you will fit the luggage in.
We've had one for 4 people a couple of times and have had to use the seats to accommodate the suitcases. The boot really is tiny.

I had to reply to this. I live in the US and actually drive a 7 seater mini van. The proplem that you have is that a "7 seater minivan" is a HUGE generalization...HUGE. Mine is a chrysler Grand vogager (now called town and country). This will hold 7 adults very well and luggage my car is big, its the same as a Dodge Grand caravan but not a dodge caravan that is smaller. There are many different types of vans some are smaller than other but offer the same amount of seating . Find out which car you are renting. If you need further advice please PM me I am a welth of car knowledge as I have been shopping for a new van, I have 3 kids and LOTS of overseas guests, I am actually English :) Good luck.

Please excuse my terrible grammer and spelling.

If you book with Alamo you get to choose which minivan you get from their lines in the car park so you could have a look at which is best for you.

Luggage will be tight but there is room beside the door as 2nd row of seat is 2 only so there is space beside for luggage.

As it is only to and from airport and you only have one driver you have no choice. The 8 seater is not worth it for the difference and the 12 seater is huge and like driving a bus.

We are a family of four and struggled to fit all our luggage in a 8 seater durango, no way would four cases fit unless the back row of seats were folded.

We hired a 7 seater minivan from Dollar 4 years ago and it held 2 weeks worth of luggage for all 7 of us.

We had a 7 seater from Dollar and it had loads of luggage space. It was a Dodge Grand Caravan. I hope we get the same again next time. :)
