We (Husband and I) are headed to WDW for three nights this month (January 19-22) after a cruise. We are staying at AofA and I am waiting to buy our park admission tickets until we get there. If the weather is not good we may do only one park (Epcot) and if good we will do two parks (MK). There was no financial benefit to buy a two day ticket in advance so I elected to wait. I plan to buy the tickets at guest services at the resort when we check in.

We were planning to do morning EMH at Epcot, and assuming we do MK the second day we will do rope drop. Can I get fast passes when I buy the tickets at the resort, or do I go to kiosks once in each park? Our plan was to do Soarin' first thing at Epcot, then head over to TT and either ride it or get a FP. Our plan at MK is to go right to the Seven Dwarves Mine Train and ride it, then get other fast passes?

Will this work or does anyone have any better suggestions? Thanks!

You should be able to make your FPs as soon as you link your tickets to MDE. Go ahead and have your account and the app set up, then once you buy tickets, link the ticket numbers. This will at least give you a little jump on the FPs as opposed to a kiosk.

Beyond that, you can stop at a kiosk when you enter the park and get them done there too. If you're not looking for 7DMT or Anna/Elsa, most things should still have some availability 9though times will be less flexible). If you rope drop your high priority, do the ride first then find a kiosk.
