Advice: Havent' been to Disney since 2000

We are finally going to Disney this Dec. We are only able to go for 4 days (4 full days - the 5th we are leaving to go home) I am worried that this isn't enough time and I will regret not having longer. Right now we have a 3 day park hopper although we are considering adding the 4th day. We are staying at the Pop Century Resort. Does anyone have any tips or advice so that we can make the most of our time. Our family includes us two adults and one 13 year old daughter.

Here are my thoughts...

1) If you've been there before and have ridden the rides & been to all the parks, then pick your top three parks and just go there (skipping the other park entirely). Within that, review your favorite rides, and have them be your "must dos" - everything else will be a bonus.

2) Don't get the dining plan - you'll spend too much of your time eating. Perhaps you could eat breakfast in the room?

3) You might want to invest in www.tourguidemike.com - he's got some great pointers that could help you fit in all of your favorirte rides in ALL the parks!

4) Just relax and enjoy yourself! It's Disney, and it'll be there the NEXT time you come!

When we went in 2002, it had been quite a while for us, too.
We concentrated on MK cause we love it so much. Then we hit all the other parks. Ours was 4 days then, too. Pace yourself, don't try to kill yourself running back and forth. Go and have a great time.
This last time(2005) we were there for 5 days, loved it. Next time I am hoping for 7 full days, never know though. I will take what I can get cause I will be at Disney and there is no other place like it!

I think you should study and plan as much of your trip as you can. Check all 4 parks so you will know your favorite park next time you come back, because we all know you will be back. If you study your trip out you will find that you won't waste too much time. Remember it doesn't matter how much time you have at WDW it never seems to be enough. Have fun!

Also check out this site www.allearsnet.com it might help you with what ride you want to do... but take your time and make this trip magical... rushing it will give you a bad experience. have fun....

I would add the 4th park day. Youre staying at Pop so Id concentrate my time in the parks. 4 park days would give you one park per day to be at the gate at opening so you can ride those big rides before the parks get packed.
