Hi me & Dh will be visiting DLR in Dec with our 3 little ones

I am a little worried how to tackle the rides with the 3 kids, especially since the smallest one is quite timid (in terms of rides). When we went to Tokyo Disney last year, she practically refused to get onto any ride except IASW. (She has however made leaps of improvement recently willing to go on some rides at Universal Studios e.g. spinning teacups). Adding to the mix is a mummy who won't go on perceived rides with 'big drops' and a couple of adventurous pre teens (my dd1 has said she is willing to go on ToT in California after trying the one at TDR...but once is enough for me !!:scared1: )

Any advice how best to tackle the lines/rides at Disneyland?

We will be there from Dec 5-10 (checking in to GCH on 5th pm, and leaving on the 10th 6.30pm). I hope to take a day in between to visit Knotts as well, so should I get a 3, 4 or 5 days-pass?

Decisions....decisions...thanks everyone!

I would probably get a 4 day pass - that way you have enough time to do each park twice. That is the age range of my kiddos and the older ones know that we have to ride some attractions that the youngest would like. My husband and I usually split up and one will take the little one and the other will take the bigger ones and ride the more "grown up" attractions. We always get rider switch passes (go to the front of the line with a child that is too short for the attraction and the CM will give you a pass that is similar to the fast pass. Then one of the adults can ride with the kids(wait in regular line) and the other can take the youngest to a nearby attraction or browse the stores. The the adults can trade and take the older kids back on the ride though the fastpass line.)

Course you could also get a 3 day pass - see if you need more time and add days to the pass if you would like. Just leave a couple days open in your schedule that you can be flexible with. The if you need the extra time, add one or two more days and if not, then you can explore the rest of the area - Legoland, Knotts, LA, Hollywood... there is tons to do.

thanks for your response!

Do you know if this rider switch pass is available at all rides, or only those with FP?

Thanks!
