Advice for traveling to Universal

Since we are driving down to Universal from NC we have decided to drive down the day before our reservation. Can someone recommend a hotel that is outside of Orlando? I am thinking maybe an hour or so away. Thanks in advance.

Check out the "Jackleg Motor Lodge". Their buffet has ribs. You can get a whole rack or just one for a dollar. They have great shrimp jumbali..... They even have wine on the rocks!

Just my own recommendation. If you can do it, do it. If you can't, don't. I gotta' go. Time to watch "Survivors".
