advice for my friend

my friend emily got a job that shes wanted forever in California for a jewlery company
the company is flying her and her DH down there to finish paperwork and do a drug test
they will be gone for 3 days and 4 nights and the company is paying fo rher room air food and tickets for them to do stuff while there
the DH says they dont need tickets to do stuff as they are there for her job and thats all he cares about
emily is upset as she views this as time for them to spend together and have some fun
once they do the drug test she will have to wait up to 36 hours for results so that will be free time plus the next day will be mostly free time after the paperwork
she wants to plan some stuff and look at the local area for things to do
i dont know what to tell her
well i told her to bring someone else then

Em designs and makes the stuff so she wont have to move she can stay here in boston
they offered her a sweet deal

If they're not moving then I don't know what her DH's issue is. It's a free vacation. They should enjoy it.
