Hey Everyone my family and I our veterans of Disneyworld. However next year we will be headed to Disneyland for the first time in May. I'm trying to figure out the sweet spot of the number of days we need to book? I want to see everything in both parks, but not be burned out because we want be going anywhere else while we're there. We will be staying at the Disneyland hotel. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Unless you want to buy an AP, the most days you can buy on a ticket is 5. I would go with 5.

We are WDW veterans also and everyone but me did their first DLR trip just last week.

We had 5-day park tickets, but the first and last days were travel days (we arrived at John Wayne Airport at 9:30 am first day, and we flew out the fifth day at 6:30 pm, so we had a good part of both days in the parks).

The amount of time was just perfect for us to do everything we wanted (which was nearly all attractions except for the pre-school age ones) and without being exhausted. We stayed out late two nights, but we also slept in two mornings, and we took it very easy on day 3.

I always say go for 5. We take an annual trip and always get a 5 day PH. If they still had the 7 day we would do that. Now that being said not everyone can or wants to do 5 days so I'd say a minimum of 3 days to be able to get a good DL experience.

5 days is enough to do most stuff. There are grad nites in May as well so that can make it more busy. I personally will not go when there are grad nites
