Advice for CRT 3:55 ADR

Does anyone have tips or advice for us about how to navigate through parade traffic to get to a 3:55pm dinner ADR at CRT? We had planned to go back to the resort for a break prior to returning for the ADR. We have six adults and one almost 3 year old in our group. I'm now worrying about how we will actually get to CRT if the parade is going on at 3pm. Does anyone know how long the parade actually lasts? Thanks!

I think you will be fine. If you are using Disney transportation give yourself an hour to get from the resort to the MK and don't forget to add a little time to get from the MK bus stop to CRT.

we were in similar circumstances last year before MNSSHP...had 4.05 ressies. We actually got to Main Street about 3:20 or so and the parade was still coming out onto Main Street. We knew it had started at 3:00, so just watched the last few floats come out (great view from that end of Main Street) and then we basically "followed" the parade up the street...we made it to CRT way ahead of time...think we checked in around 3:45.

If you want to try to keep going towards the castle, you can go right when you come into MK and head up the sidewalk on the right side (don't go left...will not be able to cross the street at the other end of Main Street because the parade turns left...you can cross on the right side.) They usually do a pretty good job of keeping a path clear through the crowd on the sidewalk as they know people are needing to come/go even during parades. When all else fails, duck into the Main Street shops and walk through them as far as you can go & then duck back out...you can make pretty good progress that way, too.

Thanks for letting me know that it can be done! I appreciate the first hand experience. I think I had some last minute "jitters." We are leaving this Thursday and are so excited for our first free dining trip.
