Advice for a WDW Newbie

For the most part lines at WDW are in side and AC. I use the DAS card and there are times it is hard for me to find a quiet place inside.

as fair as the bathroom be sure to use them before getting in line or just make sure you go often.

About take up the first aid time you are not if this is what you need I go to first aid just about every day that I am there and trust me if you go in take a rest you are not bothering them at all the only times I have seen them a little anoided was when someone was constantly complaining that they needed there PB, glucose ( even thought they did not have diabetes) extra checked. But for me a rest at first aid means no ER visit so this what I do

Indoor lines? That's GREAT! I do visit bathrooms very frequently. Unfortunately that doesn't stop the need for quick exits at least a few times a day. It's the nature of the j-pouch. I'm the same way - no rest equals ER visits. This is especially true when I'm in new environments, eating differently, and not on my normal sleep schedule. Thank you for sharing your experience. I feel a little bit better about going to first aid if I need to. I get what you're saying about the complainers. Every ER and doctor's office has them. I've spent too much time in medical facilities to complain unless absolutely necessary (like the time they kept trying to give me a shot with medication I'm deathly allergic to).

MK fist aid is the biggest ( can you tell I spend the most time here) HS has 3 bed (really coats ) EPCOT I also think they only have 3 I have never been to first aid at AK

But yes I just tell them I need to lie down and I have never had a problem with it even on the 4 of July. But I am on a fist name bass with just about all the nurses at first aid. If you want you can say I have some medical problems where I have to rest or I will wind up in the ER. Just some thing very short and even this I do not think you will have todo

I know you mentioned that ADRs might be challenging because of the cancellation fee, and that you won't know 24 hours in advance if you'll be well enough to do dinner or not. As long as SOMEONE from your party shows up for an ADR, they won't charge the no-show fee. I know it'd mean splitting your party, but if you're not well enough to attend a meal, you could rest at first aid while others go to the ADR and you wouldn't be charged for a no-show. (I hope this makes sense.)
