I am planning only my second trip to WDW for second week of October and an additional weekend in December. I am waiting for the discount codes I have read so much about or annual pass rates for this time of year. Now my question, do most people make a backup ressie first at full price and then try to convert it to code price? Will I screw up and not get my preferred resort? We are thinking Poly, Wl, or AKL.

What should I do, my travel dates are not flexable
Thanks .

I think you should book the resort you want now, and then if codes or AP rates are released you can call back and modify your reservation.

I have done this before and there hasn't been a problem.......except that one of the castmembers I spoke to remembered me from a previous call! LOL!!!

I'd also book now, and then if a discount comes out, have them switch it to the better price. I've done this without changing confirmation numbers before (they modified the "rate type" and even the "room type" on occasions). :)

definitely book now and add the code later, at least you have a room reserved!

Definitely book now! You can always change or cancel your reservation later. It's better to have something. ;) According to the CM I spoke with today the discounts should be out in July.

this is susy on my nephew's computer.

Yes, book now , if you have the one night's deposit. What's nice is that when you get the discount, you have already paid a little more than one night. It makes a difference for us , since we only go for 2 or 3 nights at a time!

64 days till akl!!!!
