Hi

This is the plan for my DH, 2 DS's (5 & &) on our 3 week trip to Florida in June. We are staying off property.
Feel free to give your opinion/advice please.

Weds 8th Arrival day (longhaul flight from the UK, land 1545) find hotel, check in. Possibly swim in pool if it's open. Find somewhere to have dinner (Sizzler, Ponderosa etc.) and then go to bed! If we're not all exhausted, perhaps check out the shops at DTD. (what time do the shops generally shut?)
Thurs 9thEpcot
Fri 10thHollywood Studios (STARWARS!)
Sat 11th EPCOT & possibly Arabian nights dinner 830pm
Sun 12thBlizzard Beach/lazy day
Mon 13thMagic Kingdom Crystal Palace Breakfast hopefully
Tues 14thHollywood Studios
Weds 15th Magic KIngdom
Thurs 16th Typhoon Lagoon/lazy day
Fri 17thAnimal Kingdom Tusker House Breakfast hopefully
Sat 18thAnimal Kingdom
Sun 19th No plans/lazy day/shopping/DTD or repeat a disney park if needed

Tues 28thno plans/lazy day/shopping/repeat aquatica if needed?
Weds 29th DEPART 1755 check in luggage at airport early? visit IOA/US or seaworld if needed/shopping? Go home

Am I trying to do too much? Obviously I have allowed 2 days at most of the parks. 2 whole days may not be necessary, but I that's what everyone seems to reccommend.
I would be greatful for any feedback/advice on my plans.

Thank you

WOW...that's quite a trip. I think you should just play it by ear and do what you want. I mean...it's nice to have a tenative schedule but make sure you allow for flexibility. Do your ADRs but don't plan everything in advance...I think that takes away from the feel of a vacation. But that's me. ;)

That said...I think you are wise to allow two days in each park so you can slow down and enjoy yourselves. :thumbsup2

It definitely looks to be a great trip.
:teeth:

Wow!! I wish we lived in the UK. We could never take a 3 week vacation. I would love to be in Florida that long at one time! Have a great trip!! Looks like a lot of fun. Because you have 3 weeks to do all that it doesn't look like too much.

June can be pretty hot here and thats a whole lot to do in hot weather.

The thing is you have so much time here you have the luxury of dropping a day for rest if needed/wanted.

Personally this is just me, Id think about maybe heading over to a beach or something just to get away from the crazy parks/tourist atmosphere. There are lots of beaches that are not over run with tourists and can be quite enjoyable even in peak tourist seasons.

Thank you all for your feedback.
Although, that's my plan, it is flexible - obviously if we only spend half the second day in a park, we will either go shopping/chill by the pool etc for the second half of the day. I wanted to have a plan, but it's not set in stone. ADR's are booked now though :)
Just wanted to know if it looked ok.

Can't wait!

I only get to go for 10 days but one thing I noticed about your schedule that I have regretted in previous schedules is that you seem to have everything planned in the begining and not as much toward the end, Something I am planning for this years trip is to take a break more in the middle or if I had all the time you have maybe even one day super planned and the next more relaxed. Also pay attention to show parade and firework schedules so you know if you want days to sleep in from a late night. Also I am not sure where you are staying but a lot of resorts have a lot to offer themselves, and I have also heard there are some great outlets for shopping.

Last summer we did a Florida trip and we were down for 17 days, but only did six days at WDW and one at Universal Studios (we didn't do IOA). We probably could have used a few more park days , but we also went to the gulf for 6 nights. We stayed in a beach house in Anna Maria. . . and loved it . So if you are going to go for a beach day, I would highly recommend the gulf side. The only down side is it is 2hrs from Orlando, but only 45 min from Busch Gardens, if you are renting a car.
