Advice about Genie+

We are a family of 3 (have a 5 year old daughter).

we have 10 day park hoppers. I didn’t add genie+ because I didn’t want to spend the $450 for every single day added. Now it’s too late to even add it on since ticket prices increased, so it’ll be more than the $450 anyway.

Our flight in is early and our flight home is late. Can you guys help me decide what days to add the genie+? We are open to busing ILLs

Day 1: arrival MK
Day 2: AK - Sanaa lunch at 2 pm
Day 3: we are switching hotels from the Polynesian to Beach club. We have 12 pm Homecomin brunch reservations. Have HS booked
Day 4: MK (this is Easter Sunday if that matters). Have 10 am CRT reservations
Day 5: HS - 2 pm H&V reservations. We plan on going to Epcot nighttime extended hours
Day 6: AK - have 7 pm BOG reservations
Day 7: MK - we planned to have a late start this day. We have 645 storybook dining reservations and wanted to use the MK extended nighttime hours.
Day 8: Epcot - we have 11:50 Topolino’s reservations. (Also have a MK dessert party. Was the only day I could get it)
Day 9: HS have 645 pm reservations for space 220
Day 10: Epcot

I am thinking day 1 and day 10 will definitely be a waste getting genie+. Same with day 7 since we only planned on going to MK later. Should I just get it the rest of the days? Or just suck it up and get them all?

I definitely want to get ILL for Flight of passage & Rise. Probably will for mine train as well.

ETA: we aren’t park open to close people. We planned to go back to the hotel for midday breaks and then hop to another park.

I think day 1,4,5,9 would be the best candidates for G+. For your DHS days, bc you are hopping away I would forego SDD on G+ and go for things with earlier return times like MMRR, MFSR, RnRC or ToT.

other days could be hit & miss bc of your ADR’s and other things that restrict your schedule. Using G+ on those days will require more effort and AK/Epcot aren’t as good for G+ to start with. You can use $ILL selectively on all days since in theory you should have more control over return times but be aware they can still shift unpredictably between booking and confirmation esp. at 7am.

If HS is your 2nd (or only) park on Day 3 then yes SDD G+ is doable, just be ready to book right at 7:00:00 bc it often sells out in a minute or two.

Ah, I didn’t realize that from the OP. If you will be returning to HS late on day 3 then G+ can be helpful, but may require refreshing/waiting to book until return windows hit your desired time. This happens very quickly for SDD (seconds or minutes), longer for other rides.
