Golden Rule: You have to enjoy their company. Or all of the above are null and void. Never go anywhere with people you don't really like spending time with.

Well, shi.... This could be our downfall! I love spending time w/ my parents, but my sister & her DH not so much. Really good advice though!!!

Honestly, OP, I'd tell your sister, "This trip is my granddaughter's first and I want to concentrate on her. Can we plan for you and your grandkids to join us the next time? That gives you plenty of time to save up and make it their trip of a lifetime, and I'll be more available to help you."

With two different sets of grandkids, I just see disaster written all over this. Your sister may feel like you're favoring your granddaughter over her grandkids (which you would be, duh), and it might lead to some hurt feelings.
