Advice about BBB

I agree with pp's that BBB it definatly worth it!! DD just loves it, and is asking to go twice this upcomming trip!! At DD's first visit she had just turned 3 and was totally stunned at the reveal, it was soooo sweet to watch! And like the others have stated, the girls do get a whole bunch of extra attention from the CM's!!

She is just beautiful! She looks like she's a bit in shock! Did you do the whole shebang w/her? hair and dress and everything? Are the tiaras included or for sale there? I've found a pretty beaded Belle tiara, but it's just the plastic kind, maybe I should look for a real one that looks like those!

When you get a package... it comes with a crown.. I believe there are three different options. You do not have to choose the dress you can bring your own.. we just did hair, makeup and nails. I think it was called the "Crown Package"

The tiara comes w/ the fairytale princess hairstyle for the diva and pop princess hairstyles it is an additional 10 dollars. If you choose to do the castle package and don't want the princess crown that comes w/ it you don't have to get it and you will not be charged for it. The same is for any of the other accessories. I don't have pics up yet of my dd from our last trip to BBB but we do have pics posted on the BBB thread in my sig she is on the first and second page. The cinderella wedding pics she did the whole shebang for her bday the pink sleeping beauty pics she did the basic package and the last time we were there she did the middle package.

So the crown is priced separately from the makeover? Or if you don't want it, they give you a price break? Since you've done it before, would you get the crown again? Well, come to think about it, can you really have too many tiaras?

If you breakdown the costs of the castle package you will see how it works out (cost of dress, shoes, wand, crown, photos packages, and the middle makeover package) I believe I posted the breakdown on the BBB thread. So if you choose to only get the dress makeover and photos then they deduct the price of the other items and you basically pay for what you get. The little rhinestone tiara is the one I mentioned comes w/ the fairytale hairstyle but it costs 10 dollars more to add to the diva and pop princess hairstyles. There really is no such thing as to many tiaras especially not w/ little girls, I promise

I just took a look at your other thread. What amazing pictures! I have more questions now and didn't find the answers there.

1. Does the Coach pkg include the crown?
2. When the Crown pkg says nails, does that mean paint or stick on?
3. Has anyone done a Cool Dude recently? i saw some photos on there from last year.

I just booked BBB for my daughter and thought my son my get a kick out of it. I'll ask him first, sometimes he thinks he's too cool. Any recent pix would help as well. He's 7-1/2 and thinks he's a rock star. So would that go w/the rockstar thing? Hmmm? Anyone have that experience?

Thank you for the compliments on her....I agree as well, but I am certainly partial!!! LOL It makes me teary eyed to see all the girls all done up comming out of there, they look so beautiful,a nd their parents are so proud of them as they walk along! (Can you tell I am having withdrawls!!?? )Yes we did the whole makeover (castle package). It ended up she had two tiaras, the rhinestone one and the Belle one(which our dog has since destroyed! ). The main thing I would recommend if they are going to be wearing special shoes, is for the girls to wear socks or pantyhose, DD feet got rubbed pretty bad from those shoes...nothing that a couple of band aids couldn't help though!

For our upcomming trip we will definatly do the whole thing again, she has gotten tons of use out of the dress and accessories. I have even redone her hair with the hair peice and tiara for halloween etc. Now to decide which BBB location to go to, and whether or not to do it on Halloween, or bring a costume and have two dress up days....lol

The rhinestone tiara comes w/ the fairytale hairstyle so if you get the coach package and choose that hairstyle it does come w/ it if you choose one of the other hairstyles it is 10 dollars more. The princess specific crowns come w/ the castle package but for an additional charge which is some where between 10 and 20 dollars. For the nails the princesses have a choice between the press on nails or nail polish. My dd got the press on nails when we did the castle package and she was ready to take them off by the time we were walking out. This last time when we were there she picked the nail polish and she got to pick between a glittery clear pink or glittery clear blue but she got to keep both bottles. Towards the end of the thread a few people have posted pics of boys doing it but if he would like to do but not at the BBB he can go to the mainstreet barbershop and have his hair done there for the same price which is now 7.50 and I think the bbb thread still says 10.

Thanks for all the info! I've got the Crown booked, but I have a feeling the stick on nails would do as well as yours did, NOT.

So, since you are the queen of BBB, have you done it?

I haven't done it yet up until now my hair wasn't long enough we are trying to plan a trip for next year and I do plan on having it done. Of course we going crazy right now trying to buy a house which so far isn't going so well for us but thats another thread on the budget board. I think I get more excited about her doing it than she does but she really does love it. Of course I can't wait for the day that my dd4 can do it she has sesory issues and fooling w/ her hair is one of them so at this point I am lucky to even be able to do anything w/ her hair.

Good luck w/the house. I will preorder my photopass, I"ve heard of people getting hundreds of photos on it!

We did a quick last minute trip in feb and we had a little over 100 pics by the time I added all the borders to the photos I had 603.
