Good morning. We are having Makayla's birthday party today. Waiting for the moon bounce thingy to be delivered.
cool! Can I come and bounce? :yay:

:lmao: :thumbsup2

Angel? How did you get that grape tag? :lmao:

Oh, never mind, it's your location!
Do you know how many times I read her tags over, trying to see something that had to do with grapes? I was really confused!

Oooh, I loved Ohana before the menu change. I'm sure it's still wonderful, but they got rid of our two favorite items: the wontons and the pineapple w/caramel sauce. Booooo.

Boma is WONDERFUL. Seriously- anyone can find something to eat there. I loved it.

Chef Mickey's dinner is another really good one. We really had a good time- but it's not quiet! And full of kids! Still- great food and a very fun atmosphere.

I'm going to have to get out my passporters and see where else I have been!

I LOVE the dining plan. LOVE it. Kinda sad they changed it, though. It was cool getting the appetizers and trying all kinds of things without breaking the bank. But, it WAS too much food, I agree.
oh....that reminds me. Joe and I had a great anniversary dinner at Concourse Steakhouse. We had the first seating...so it was very quiet.

Oh yeah, Kelly- I forgot about 50s Prime Time!

And we were amazed at how good the Tusker house was in AK, but we went when it was counter service. Not sure about the buffet.

Hair grows out. Until then you can become the "hat" lady!

Well, we're staying put at home today. And I'm making my Sneaky Chef purees... We'll see how that goes. I'm off to chop and steam and puree!

I am back

That is no fun when the birthday party turns out that way. That's why we stopped doing parties like that and started just inviting specific kids, with me talking to the parents and securing the yeses myself by calling or going to see them. We'd just have between 1 and 3 special friends that usually we did something with.........Medieval times, six flags, build a bear..........

Poor Kathryn.

Love you all! :grouphug:

same here, we just invite a few, but be aware, that can turn into a fiasco also, it did here :sad2: when we went to the aquarium last Sept.

Morning everyone!!

My management team is being stupid, so I'm benig snarky. I'm just waiting to see if they even attempt to call me out on it. I can pull a harassment case against them with HR so fast it will make thier heads spin!

isn't that a quality for all management?? :rotfl:

Good morning.

Is everyone else here on the East Coast? Is that why you people are up so darn early? :rotfl:

east coast here

Good morning. We are having Makayla's birthday party today. Waiting for the moon bounce thingy to be delivered.

sounds cool Becky!!! I am planning a honeymoon trip for DK and I at the world in November, since he can't do alot of rides this will be a different trip for us and he loved the dining plan!!! So, what places do you all like?

Yachtsmans Steakhouse
Brown and Derby
Boma
Ohana(but have not been in a few yrs with all the menu changes)
Kona (my new choice over Ohana and love it!)
Tangerine Cafe(counter service in Mexico) very filling
Beaches and Cream

good pasteries in France and Norway

use to enjoy the Mexico place, but have been disappointed the last 2x

after my trip in June I can weigh in on:
Jiko
chefs de France
50s Prime Time
Spoodles
Tutto Italia

I cant wait to hear Deb!!!!:yay: You and David suggested Yachstsman right?

yes, I  it :thumbsup2 I am thinking about changing that Chefs de France ressie :rolleyes1 to my Yachtsman

love the tomato and mozzarella salad there, and the steaks melt in your mouth, kid u not --

I liked the counter service in Mexico- we got an early dinner and then stayed put in our seats for Illuminations! Highly reccomend that if you want to sit and have a good view!

And to explain- I bought the book "The Sneaky Chef" - a book with recipes that sneak pureed veggies into foods you already eat.

So, right now I am working on "orange puree" (sweet potatoes and carrots), "white puree" (cauliflower and zucchini), and "purple puree" (spinach and blueberries). These will be hidden in various foods- mac'n'cheese, pizza, spaghetti, brownies, etc.

We use to like to go to one inside, San Angel Inn. But the last 2x has not been that great. Not a fan of counter service one here, but that has to do with our Mexican Rests. here, they are awesome here. We watch Illuminations right in front of that Fiesta Margarita place :thumbsup2 get there about 7ish, so can be at railing, and drink away. We take turns watching the spots if we decide to go to Mexico or Norway pavilion to keep everyone busy. A great view of Illuminations, but the key is being there around 7.

I have been told 1900 Park Fare was a good place for Thanksgiving, they do a special menu that day
