Older one. my main complain about the younger one right now is that since he's playing baseball every day he's eating us out of house and home. The child can't get filled up. But that's not too good of a reason to auction him off. The older one is driving me crazy with his attitude.

You're right, I don't think appetite is grounds for an auction! Attitude certainly is though! Do you think we can do buy one, get one free?

Today the theme of my afternoon was finding daycare for my son. Went to day care number one...kind of shabby, but the kids were all engaged and playing well. Went to day care number two I was looking for vermin in the corners...what a hole!

Now day care number one has such a long waiting list that it's quite possible he would never get in. Day care number two can take him as of June 1st, but that's after I start the new job. So we come home depressed. I call a day care mom we know to see if she knows anyone with openings (we really don't want an in-home day care...I want him to do preschool).

While I'm on the phone, DH finds another daycare...a Kindercare...a little further away than we wanted, but not horrible. So I call just to see. They have an opening NOW! I set up a tour next week, but I hear her say her tour is there. I asked if the openings they have would be filled by next week and should I not wait. She said they're doing an open house Saturday, so the spots may get taken...I asked if I could come on Saturday and she said absolutely...I'll be waiting for the doors to open at 10 with checkbook in hand. With any luck it will be decent and my number one stressor with this job move will be taken care of.

Oh...and DH was offered a new job today too...so he may be changing positions at the exact same time I am. How's that for life change? I'm not going to have a nervous breakdown...HONEST!
