Adventures by Disney So Cal, Anyone?

Hello all!

I fell upon an email from "Adventures by Disney" and decided to look into the So Cal package whcih includes (amongst other GREAT things) visits to the Disney Studios in Burbank and the Jim Hension Studios. I almost died since I thought visits were not available for those 2 studios. Since the price is pretty high, I was wondering if someone already did the package and to what extent its worth it.

This is a new "Adventures By Disney" itinerary this year, and I have only seen a couple Disboard members who are planning on doing it this spring/summer. Hopefully they'll see your post and respond. Unfortunately, it's way too expensive for my family.

I am on this tour but not until Jan of 09. There is a thread on the ABD section of the DIS boards..the first one was cancelled.
There is a great review of this trip on MiceAge (link is in the ABD section on DIS) and if half the things actually happen it will be well worth it.

We're booked for the March 2009 trip. I wanted to go this year, but couldn't bring everything together (the main thing being someone to take DS 3 and DS 5 for a week- my mom has agreed to do it next year when the little one is 4 and hopefully less volitile). I'm really excited about it- the tour sounds like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
