My sister and I are making a "Sisters Only" side trip to Disney in May and since we won't have any kids with us, we're thinking about going to PI for the first time. I'd love to hear any tips or experiences at the AC...

Here's a couple of tips. We went into one of the shows in the big side room. When it was over, they just kind of hearded us throught the exit and we found ourselfs outside. The people we were with said lets go check out something else. IMO we didn't find anything as fun. Don't leave untill you are ready. Second, we went back a couple of nights later and they were hosting a private party and we couldn't get in. Check to see if it is open.

We went to Pleasure Island. I'm a pretty boring person. I don't like to dance. I don't like to drink a lot when drinks are about $7. I don't like to hang out with the single, younger crowd. The first thing we did was go to the Adventurer's Club. It was great. I loved it. When the show finished DH wanted to check out the rest of the places. We hit the comedy club, and we loved that too. Otherwise, of all of the bars, we did not have fun. It was pretty slow, but AC and the comedy place were more my style. We decided that next time we'd split our time between those two.

You don't have to leave when the show in the library finishes. Just duck back into the waiting room and maybe catch a mini-show in the Mask or Trophy room.

In Dec. 2002, DH and I went to AC for the first time. We got there around 7:30 pm. We went into the lobby and grabbed a seat until the cast came into the lobby. We then got to experience every room, with the library last.
Two weeks ago, my mom and I went but didn't get there until about 8:30. Right away, we went to the library where the action was. Poor mom, we hadn't been there for 5 minutes when one of the cast came up to her, grabbed her by the arm and escorted her to the stage to be in their show! That was pretty cool!
However, I felt that by arriving later, it didn't seem to be as fun.
We did see a little of action in the lobby, but then went right back into the library for another skit. We totally missed the maid and the colonel, which was a part of the experience that my DH and I still kid about. I would say, get there earlier, but if you have never been there, any part will be fun. They love to joke around with the visitors. :p
