So, I have been to the AD Club a couple times in the past month.
It seems that they have they stopped interacting with the guests as much as they used to. I was there for an hour and a 1/2 last night, and the group only came out twice to talk to guests. It was quite boring actually.
I love the shows, but they only had one.
Are they changing things? Since last night was Thursday, they used to be hopping in there. Last night, was well, weird.

Any news??

And whats up with all the construction, and closing of the stages? Thats supposed to be going on until late 2006??

Thanks!

If all the rumors are true, expect big changes at PI. Essentially turning it into something akin to the rest of DTD. The clubs will all shut down and reopen as venues owned and operated by other companies. Raglan Road was the start. A restaurant called T-Rex, which seems to be a prehistoric Rainforest Cafe is one of the announced changes. I don't know which club it will replace. Sadly, the Adventurers Club may vanish soon. There's a lot of union talent on the payroll in that building. Disney appears to prefer a rent check from Levy Restaurants or the like instead. So, if you want to have one last Kungaloosh, perhaps you better hurry.

Oh man, first Tarzan is gone and now Adventurers Club? My life is forever ruined! LoL. I can see something like this happening though. Adventurers Club is their most popular, I wonder if they'd consider keeping at least that one.

wow - so no more clubs? That's the best part being ablr to go out and dance@!

To my knowledge there is no current plan to close the Adventurers Club. It's popular and makes plenty of cash because it's often rented out for conventions and events. Maybe it'll remain, who knows.

I love the shows, but they only had one.

They still have several library shows a night...every night. Plus, the shorter shows in the auxiliary rooms.

Yes, I know they are supposed to have shows in the library, and the other rooms, but last night, they had one in the mask room, and one in the library, in an hour and a half. which was weird. I wondered if the schedule of shows was changing. Babalonia never came on, and Pamelia perkins was only seen once.

They've been following the same schedule for years. You may have been there too late to see the salon show that features Babylonia, and on a Thursday they probably won't do a maid show. Pamelia appears in the library at the end of Samantha's cabaret and on many nights she doesn't show up again until she introduces the last show.

I think I pretty much know which hour and a half you mean, and that's a slower time than earlier in the evening.

So when is the best time of evening to go?

I'll be at WDW from April 5th to the 12th, and the Adventurers Club is on my list of things to see. I'm not a party or club type person, so going early is fine with me. I just want to enjoy the atmosphere, interaction and shows they offer. If they are cutting back, is it better to arrive early?

Recommendations, anyone?

What hour & a half is that slower one so I can avoid it?

Love AC. We just started going over the last year now that DS is an adult. I'm looking forward to going next week.

Naw, there has been nothing surfacing to suggest that The Adventurer's Club will cease to exist. I exprienced it for the first time on my last trip and had a blast. There will be many changes to P.I. within the next year or two though. That's a certainty.

This is what we were told by one of the bartenders a little over a week ago. They are putting shops in the buildings that that will open up to the water and the small stage will go and will somehow open up into a marina. The West End stage is gone and so you can walk through. The Harley Store is moving across the street and replaceing an existing store. He made no mention of ANY of the clubs closing. He did say he had not heard anything about the AC closing since it was the mosted rented out banquet facility in WDW.

I found the first hour after opening to be slow, at least one time.

Another time they had a free first hour and a half. There was one mask room show, one treasure room show, and then one library show after which you had to exit the back door unless you had your wristband from paying the Pleasure Island all clubs admission.

Nothing in the Adventurers' Club involves a view of the outside. Therefore it is possible for the AC to be moved to one of the buildings not overlooking the water.

There are library shows at approximately 8, 8:45, 9:30, 10:20, and 11. I may not have the exact times. If you're in the club, they're posted on plaques at the room entrances. At 11:30 they'll do a new member induction in the salon. After that on Fridays and Saturdays there is usually a maid's show in the library, but not weekdays. If you're in the salon between about 10 PM and 11:30 PM there should be a couple of shows in the mask and treasure rooms but not much in the salon itself. If you're there after the new member induction, on a weeknight usually nothing else will occur in the salon until 12:10.

Personally I like to attend the library shows around 9:30 and 10:20. I also like the last show of the night (12:20 on weekdays, 12:40 on Fridays and Saturdays if there's a maid's show) so I hang around for it.
