Advantage Rental Car rates

I also posted this on the transportation board, but thought it would be helpful here as well.

I've been watching car rental rates for months now, and they have been higher than I have EVER seen! Today Advantage Rental Car (in terminal) went down in rate pretty significantly.

Our dates are 10/25-11/5. The lowest rate (prior to today) I could find was $470, today it was $313 (with a discount code from retailmenot).

I just booked for 12/10-17 for $125 (with taxes and fees) midsize with military discount on Advantage's website. Pretty good in my opinion, especially for no payment upfront.

I have this obsession with checking rates everyday, so I can definitely do that! Good advice!

Were you able to choose an in terminal provider? I'd really prefer a company on site, but for the right price, would go off site too!

I was able to book a week rental in Orlando for about $175. They even let me use a coupon code to lower the rate cheaper. Better than the $400 I was expecting to spend.

I've been doing the rental car check dance as well. I should have checked my AAdvantage card miles in first place. MiniVan for a week cost me less than 20,000 miles. So minivan is now free except for any fees or taxes. This trip keeps getting better and better! Can't wait for October 28.

You can't pick a specific company, but it will give you one on site at MCO.
