Does anyone have any feedback on Advantage Rental Car? Their prices are much lower than all the others. I am looking for 11/28 to 12/3.
Thanks!

I have used Advantage many times with no problems. A couple of their places they are not open 24hrs. In this case I would not rent from them. Not because of them but because of similar rental company experiences. I would never return a car without someone checking me in.
I went through one car company and when I returned the car they did the normal walkaround and went straight to the upper corner of the passenger side window and pointed out a minute chip (looked suspicious as if they knew it was there). They charged me $600.00 for a replacement. Now whenever I pick up a car I go through the whole car looking for damage and when I return the car I make sure they inspect the car and sign off on it as no damage before I leave for the airport.
I just may be paranoid but they do make a lot of money on us without charging us for extras

Thanks for the info. Did you have any experience with the Orlando Airport location?

I have used Advantage several times because of the rates. They are now located in the terminal at MCO, however to get to their cars is a very long hike to the far back of the parking ramp.

They have always tried to add extras on to the contract without asking. The last time I had them redo the contract twice. Be very aware of what you are signing. In this regard they seem worse than any other car rental company.

Last Spring I had a mid-size reserverd. They pushed hard for me to upgrade to a large Buick LaCrosse. I insisted that I did not want to upgrade for and additiona $20/day. They finally got fed up with me and sent me on my way. After a long hike to the cars, I found I was assigned a Buick LaCrosse after all.

In the end, you need to be aware. They have good rates but they make you work for them.

Basically they were out of the class of car reserved and were hoping you'd pay for an upgrade instead of giving you one free. I would have been insulted.

That is the normal 1st thought. However that isn't the case. They had tons of cars in all classes.

Advantage Rent a Car is owned by Hertz, which acquired the brand around 18 months ago after the bankruptcy of Advantage Rent a Car.

Hertz previously operated a discount/leisure car rental operation at MCO under the "Simply Wheelz" brand. "Simply Wheelz" was rebranded to Advantage Rent a Car.

I used "Simply Wheelz" several times, but I haven't rented from them since they were rebranded. I would not hesitate to rent from Advantage Rent a Car.

Anyone with recent reviews of Advantage? I am looking at using them for my trip next week ($80 cheaper than everyone else)
