Advantage Car Rental - Recent Reviews?

I was wondering if anyone has recently rented from Advantage Car Rental? I am getting a good rate from them for my dates in January - $128 for 6 days. I originally booked with Payless ($138), but having to take the shuttle to their rental location isn't ideal. I understand Advantage is located right at the airport, but I have read a few older reviews which indicated they were a little "pushy" with their upgrades and hidden fees. Any recent experiences anyone has would be great.

I haven't used Advantage myself but tend to stick to the major car rental companies myself. I was just checking a compact with Alamo for example with insiders code and $40 off ecoupon AD4027JDO and total from Jan 14 - 20th is $119.56. I'm not sure of your dates and size of vehicle?

We are looking for a midsize or larger for Jan 14th-20th - that is a good rate though. I am an Alamo member so maybe I will run the numbers again on their site. I would definitely be more comfortable sticking with a major rental company.

I need to thank you for that info! I just re-ran the numbers on Alamo and realized I can book a midsize for $102 or go up one size to standard for $125! Great rates! Thanks again for your help!

Advantage has been owned by Hertz since mid-2009, so i'd ignore any reviews from before 2010. I would not hesitate to rent from them.
