I am planning my big retirement trip for September 2018. My time to make ADRs will be in March and I'm curious if the dates for MNSSHP will be out by then. Since it is a special trip, my DH and I are planning on ADRs for some restaurants we wouldn't eat at on a normal trip with the entire family. We're thinking maybe California Grill at fireworks time as one possibility, but if we make the ADR and then it's a night when there is a MNSSHP and no regular fireworks, then we'll be out of luck. Also wondering how early the park hours are available? Again, thinking about not wanting to miss certain nighttime activities at a park because of ADRs getting in the way.

We typically go in June when there aren't many early closings, so not sure how to make all the advance planning work out.

TIA

The party dates were released in early April this past year. You could certainly try to predict by looking at this year's dates, but there's no guarantee WDW will stick with that. Quite honestly, the Halloween party fireworks are fantastic and are amazing to watch from Cali Grill. The new HEA show, which will occur on non-party nights relies more heavily on castle projections than fireworks and, though those fireworks are lovely as well, they aren't quite the star of the show, IMHO. Honestly, you can't go wrong viewing either show from Cali Grill.

Make reservations at each place you want for a couple different nights......then when the schedules come out, cancel the ones you dont need.
