My family will be in WDW October 2009. We have purchased a trial time share package and that will be our lodging for the trip. My question is, since we will be staying off site, will I still be able to make advance reservations for our dining? Our main reservation that I HAVE to make is CRT. We missed it this summer and I don't want to miss it again!

You may make reservations up to 180 days from the date you want to eat.

The only thing to be aware of that's the difference between ADR's onsite and ADR's offsite is that when staying at a Disney Resort, you can actually make your reservations at 190 days out (from the start of your resort stay.) But if you're staying off site, you can only do 180. (I believe this is how it works, I might have the details off.) Main point: if you want CRT, be sure to be calling when the lines open on your 180 day mark!

It doesn't matter where you are staying, you can make the reservations as normal. The on site people can make their reservations at the 180 mark but they are able to make reservations for the next ten days as well (the 180 + 10).

If you are off site, just use your home telephone number instead of a resort reservation number. The Cast Member will ask where you are staying and a simple "off site" will suffice.

There are many, many people who stay off site and/or are locals. The basic 180 rule applies to everyone.
