Advance Purchase Single Day Tickets and last minute Maxpass?

We are going to be visiting the LA area in April and are hoping to squeeze in a day at Disneyland. I noticed that the Disney website does not allow advanced purchase of single-day park tickets. If we wait to buy tickets, will it still be possible to purchase Maxpass, or does Disney restrict the number of visitors that have access to Maxpass?

You can buy single-day tickets through the end of March right now on the website or the app. I would keep checking back to see when April goes on sale. Disney does not limit Maxpass, you can add it to your ticket using the App after you scan into the park that morning at worst case.

You can purchase single day tickets via the website and app. You just have to know which specific date you will be visiting. The calendar only allows you to choose dates up to 3 months out, so you will have to wait until Feb to buy tickets for April.

They don't restrict Maxpass purchases. It is available to everyone and anyone who wants to buy it every day. It's $15 per person and you buy it via the app after you have scanned into the park.

Make sure to already have the DL app downloaded on you phone (make an account if need be), have profiles set up for everyone, have a credit card attached, and to be signed in before you enter the park. That way once you are in the park it should take less then a min to buy MaxPass. Remember it needs to be purchased for everyone in you party that is going to use it.
