I'll be in California next week so obviously I will be heading to Disneyland... I am planning on Sunday ( I know the crowds will be HUGE) but I just realized I have no idea how to handle food reservations at Disneyland. I am wondering is there ADR's or is it mostly walk up. I am assuming most of you will agree that the Blue Bayou is the best place to eat for Dinner.. What about for lunch?

Try Pizza Port in Tomorrow Land, it is counter service but has good food in large portions.

Or the Mexican place, or Hungry Bear. Gosh there are lots of good places to eat.

Will you be going over to DCA? The Trotarria is very good and is usually not too crowded for lunch or dinner

If you want to check to see if any ADR's are still available for your trip, call Disney Dining. I highly recommend having a few -- you mentioned the Blue Bayou . . . also Carnation Cafe is great for lunch (I had a turkey sandwich on pretzel bread, DH had the chicken club crossiant -- they also have pot roast sandwiches, pot pie, caesar salad, etc) and also Cafe Orleans (DH and I split the Monte Cristo sandwich -- also have gumbo, salads, other sandwiches). Those are my 2 favorite places for lunch that accept ADR's.
We loved the place in Adventureland that sells tons of fruit boxes and veggie/dip boxes -- very good and healthy.
Someone already suggested the Pizza Port -- the potions are "ginormous". I got the pasta with the pesto-alfredo sauce and chicken -- *very* rich and so big that I made DH split it with me. The salads looked great too.
We also like the Pier over at DCA (if you're going there) that sells soups and salads in sourdough breadbowls -- good.
DH loves the Stagedoor cafe over by Thunder Mtn. RR -- chickenstrips, fries, mozarella strips.
Also, the Plaza Inn has yummy food as well. Happy dining! :wizard:
oops, I just realized that you said you'll just be there for a Sunday -- probably gave you a few too many options LOL!!

At Disneyland the ADRs are called Priority Seating (PS). The number to call is (714) 781-3463. I've been there so much the number is on my speed dial, much to my husband's chagrin.

I would *not* choose the Blue Bayou as the best restaurant. We like Storyteller's and Hooks Pointe over at the hotels, the Vineyard Room in DCA (expensive!) or Ralph Brennans in Downtown Disney.

Of course, our favorite, favorite is Club 33, but that's not always an option. ;)

Just be aware that Storytellers is outside of the park. It is in the Grand Californian.

Yeah I noticed that I made a "late" reservation. The plan is to get to DCA at 10 do the major things take a break and walk through GC then head over to Disneyland
