I am starting to read thru this thread and it is awesome to hear about all the great experiences.

We are leaving in exactly two weeks.

Those that have been..what does the dream team wear? and is it good to watch for them and place yourself near and around them.
I read one thread where they watched some other people and then got in line with them and got fast passes.

These stories are awesome!

The dream team wears a light blue shirt, white vest... oh gosh, i know them when i see them, i just can't describe it.

anywho,

your best to just do your vacation without stalking the dream team:)

the giveaways are TOTALLY random and very mathmatical. Example: The fourth person wearing a red shirt that's 5 foot 9 and has a dog named 'pluto' and walks through through the 2nd to the most left turnstile at Animal Kingdom between 9:00am and 9:30 am will win prize X.

Okay, that might be a little overboard, but even the dream team doesnt know what's going to happen until just moments before it happens.

It's all being at the right place at the right time.

My friend and I won mickey ears when we got off the train of big thunder mountain railroad in magic kingdom. Reason: right place at the right time.

Trying to find the dream team and then if you succeed, following them around all day just to when a prize, could become very stressfull ... I think it's more magical to be in the right place at the right time and have some pixie dust spread on you and your friends/family:cloud9:

I totally agree. Thanks!

We saw them twice in Epcot last Sunday. It was fairly early in the day when we were walking towards Innovations when we saw a group of people yelling 'Yay' really loudly.

We were going that way anyway, so we went over and as soon as we got close enough we saw that they were the Dream Team giving away Dream fastpasses.

We ended up over there later that day and they were there again, and we got a dream pin trading laynard with two pins.

ok speaking of epcot: i've got a story...this is really not about following the dream team... but more about being at the right place and the right time:

I was in the land pavillion, down by soarin in that food court area with my mom one morning. It must of been around 11am. We were tlaking about how we hadn't seen much of the dream team this vacation and were sorta sad since it was our last day there. Anyway, we had a tray of food and there were literally 2 spots to sit. we sat in one of them, and this older couple sat next to us in the other available spot.

About 3 minutes later about 10 dream team members, along with people in suits came up cheerin and yellin' and making a big comotion, and i thought they were headed RIGHT FOR US.... wrong. they were headed to the table we COULD have sat at.

they showed this older couple (Must have been in their 50s or 60s-with no kids) a dvd and the man started to cry. the woman wasnt too far behind him.
I asked a dream team member what they won and they said they were the lucky winners of a NIGHT IN THE CASTLE!!!!! :scared1: :scared1:  :scared1: :scared1:

ok, yeah i was happy for them, but that whole time i was like... 'if only...'

I asked them what they did to win it, and he said they were in the right spot at the right time.

Go figure=)

Ok, also speaking of Epcot & the Dream Team....the most awesome CM I ever met was Jake on the dream team in Epcot!
I think I posted this already but, he stopped to talk to us while my kids were blowing bubbles (we were waiting for Illuminations) he chatted with us for over an hr about everything Disney. I liked the fact that he really listened to what the kids had to say no matter how trivial. He even got out an autograph book and asked us for OUR autographs which made my kids excited and my poor mom's hands were even shaking!
When we left he was up on the fountain and he shouted "Goodnight Bubble family!!!"

a cple days later we saw him again and when my son invited him on a ride he took us right thru the fast pass line! My son felt so happy to have his own personal CM escort thru the park to MS. He truly made our vaca special.

I made sure to send a detailed e-mail to WDW guest relations about him so he can be recognized for what he did for us.

It seems when the dream team is giving something out they just pop out of nowhere so stalking them won't do any good. But don't hesitate to chat with them as they are roaming, I'm glad we did! Jake was the best!

They didn't win by sitting at that table; they had already won from a neighboring attraction and were being sat down to watch the DVD.
