We make FPs in about three weeks. Rides are not a priority, but we do want to try to attempt FoP (but only with a FP).

Arrive very late Friday night (prob check in around 1 am). Staying at Dolphin.

Saturday - our 1 park day - will have hoppers.

8:00 am PPO BOG - Hubby and I decided not to visit MK this trip, but ever since I got this PPO, I'm considering trying to convince him to start here. Maybe just some pictures, breakfast and a possible ride on 7D. Then hop to AK. Problem is AK opens at 8 am and since that is our favorite park, we might be "wasting" our time by going to MK first. What will the AK bus be like from MK? What time will it start running? Anyone want to weigh in whether we keep MK or skip?

AK - EMH - 8 am opening - Try to get FoP FP no later than 10 - 11. If not, will book Navi b/c hubby hasn't been on. FP for Safari maybe. After scanning in, will try to get TT at Epcot for evening.

Eat lunch at Satuli and try out mobile ordering

Drink at Nomad Lounge

Hop to HS. I know most people will say skip, but curiosity is getting to us as we haven't seen the park and will be going back in November with the kids. We would like to get there, and simply walk around and get familiar with the layout.

Drink at the Tapline Bar (Taphouse?)

Head back to Dolphin to take a little rest (maybe) - we'd like to walk back to see what that walk is like.

Epcot for the evening. Hopefully can try out TT and Soarin. No ADRs for dinner, will just eat/snack/drink.

Illuminations

Walk back to Dolphin - maybe stop at Abracabar or somewhere else on the Boardwalk.

Day 2 is a resort day and Omakase dinner at Morimoto. Trying to convince hubby to do a DVC presentation before dinner. They will pick us up at the hotel and then drop us off at DS, right? Or I guess we can walk from Saratoga, right?

Go home next day :(

Wow! You have really jam packed your one park day! We do an adult trip every year ... and always at a crazy busy time ... and have noted that things (eg: getting in and out of the parks, getting from one park to another, getting from one part of a park to another) always take longer than we think they should when we plan. I think you may be behind "schedule" before you get out of MK.

For my money I would skip MK and go right to AK. I personally love MK and wouldn't skip it but as AK is your fave take the time to relax a bit and enjoy it! I personally think that BOG is over-rated anyway (just a personal opinion).

HS is still fun and there have been a lot of changes ... it is interesting to get a general idea of how things how things will look once all the building is done.

We loved Abracadabar! Get a seat outside for optimal people watching!

Have a nice trip! Too bad it has to be so short ... maybe a little longer next time!

Definitely try the mobile ordering at AK - we were in line at the Marketplace in Africa and the cast member passing out menus also had instruction cards for the mobile ordering, which we happily tried, and we were able to pick up our food immediately with no line at the mobile pick-up window, and were eating before everyone in line even ordered at the window ;)

I would consider skipping MK if only because your 9am FP for FoP may be very difficult to get. When we planned our adult only trip for this past October, we had a 7 day res. We arrived on a Saturday and left on Friday... we had AK days on Monday and Thursday. We were not able to get a FP for FOP except for after 6pm for Monday; we got an earlier one for Thursday. If FOP isn't a deal breaker, then the rest of it sounds good (ambitious!) but I personally would not bother with HS, it's very difficult without FP if you aren't there during EMH because there are so few attractions. Just my $.02!

That’s an awful lot to accomplish in one day! I get tired just thinking about it...I’d skip MK too if AK is your fave. If it was me, I’d skip HS too and do a split AK/Epcot day

Personally, I would skip MK. BOG breakfast isn't anything special and there is no way I would arrive at Dolphin at 1 am and then go to MK at 8 am. If AK is your favorite park, I would go there at RD.

Also, I would consider Kimono's at the Swan over Morimoto. It's right next to Dolphin and the sushi is much, much better, IMHO.

Thanks everyone. We will ditch MK and start fresh at AK. I think it might be best to see when/if we can get a FoP FP and then think about an itinerary. Either way, I do think we will head to HS to take a look around. Good stuff to think about - thanks again!

With only one day of park time there is no way I would try to do 3 parks in one day. Taking all that time to travel to/from HS just to look around sounds like a huge waste of time.

We did MK 8a-12p, HS 1p-5:30p and AK 6p-9p back in December. It was actually a super fun day so I think you will have a great time doing 3 parks in one day! Not going to lie I was tired the next day but since that is your resort day that works perfectly! I think you will be fine doing AK, HS then ending the day in Epcot. Wait times in future world seem to be better the closer you get to fireworks and you can always do TT via the single rider line.

My 75-year old mother and I did AK, HS, and MK in one day back in December. We got up, ate breakfast at the resort (Grand) and then headed to AK (not terribly early, about mid-morning). Stayed there for a few hours then came back to the resort and rested for a little, got a quick bite, changed clothes, got my dad, and we headed to Hollywood Studios for the Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam dessert party. Enjoyed that immensely, and then came back to the Grand, parted ways with Dad who went to the room and we went to the monorail and headed to MK to catch Happily Ever After.

We were sort of tired, but it was worth it and fun. I'd think your day would be similar with AK getting the bulk of the time, a quick trip through HS just to see it, and ending the night at the park closest to your resort.

I'd totally ditch the MK idea. And don't be opposed to skipping HS too. To me, it's the kind of park that doesn't offer much if you don't have a particular reason to go (fireworks show/dessert party/dining package, or FastPasses to favorite rides). It's just not like MK, AK or World Showcase, where just walking around and soaking up the atmosphere and looking at stuff can be a nice way to spend part of the day.

Ending the night at Epcot with IllumiNations is my favorite thing ever. :)

I would skip MK in this situation.
Also, I wouldn't bother with HS just for a drink.

I would just do AK morning then EP evening, and with only one park day, there's not way I'd go to the hotel for a rest.
