Adults only tips?

The tips mentioned have been great- a good place to cool off (or warm up) in the afternoons are the movies in the World Showcase- they are well done and many times have few children. You also find this in One Man's Dream at DHS - we love the animation drawing in DHS too.

If you are into nightlife then you might want to try Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk.

Another place that has quiet restaurants with less children are the Swan and Dolphin (not the character meal though).

The good thing is you can do whatever you want at your own pace. I would definitely take the time to enjoy some of the good restaurants like Jiko, California Grill, Citricos, etc. Most of these places are geared to adults.

Also, Epcot, world showcase in particular is good for adults. Alot of kids dont really want to be bothered with the countries. Take the time to walk around every country and see what they offer.

my husband and I go alone several times. we enjoy the tours, espically the Segway and any backstage tours. It's just nice to move at our pace. Have fun!!!

DH anI really enjoy our adults only visits too we usually save ourselves a few bucks by taking our own wine or whatever we plan to consume that visit often end up sipping our drinks out by the pool or on the balcony.

We too try to eat in areas where there won't be as many kids we enjoy kids esp happy ones but every visit we see a few an look at each other an say Glad that 1 not going home with us...even then we realize that child isn't slways like that an it might not even be their fault they unhappy.

We like the slower pace too we don't rush for rope drop but usually arrive very soon after. Usually take an afternoon break even in Jan but then we are AP holders an allowed to park hop for free we usually hop over to Epcot for the evening or will do a AK early am till we tired 1or 2 then back to room for a rest an go out to DD that nite.

We find eating off peak times gives us a quieter meal too even with CS an it's not just kid noise it's noise in general some of the resturants just noisy places to be add the crowd of the lunch or dinner rush an it's over whelming sometimes.

Parks, Fireworks, ESPN Club, and Jellyrolls!!!! More fun than with the kids!!! And don't feel guilty - enjoy each other!!

Dinner at Narcoossee's is wonderful, and you can watch Wishes while eating.

My DH and I are going in November! Wishes is only on for one night of our trip. Should we watch Wishes from Narcoosee's if I can get a reso or watch it in MK?

Most of the trips I have made to WDW have been without children. I think a lot of the suggestions made are excellent. Definitely the tours are wonderful - Keys to the Kingdom, Wild by Design, the segway tours are so much fun. If you are looking for romantic, time your Cali Grill dinner so you can watch Tink fly just before the fireworks. And sit on the beach or lie in the hammock to watch Wishes and The Electric Light Parade from the POLY beach. Go to AK for their night EMH and find the hidden path around the Tree of Life. The whole park is transformed in the dark. Quiet and lovely and mystical in some way. A must do for me. Get on a boat at MK just before the fireworks on your way to WL and watch them on the water. Magical! And take the boat after illuminations back to the Boardwalk area. The boat ride at night is very romantic, especially if you sit outside. The carriage ride sounds wonderful as well. And there is a lot to be said for sitting around the pool with an adult beverage if the sun is warm! Oh! and definitely try out the searaycers. FunFunFun!!! Oh and the boat at night in downtown Disney is a wonderful ride all by itself... Actually I am seeing a theme here for night time boat rides. Had never realized how much I liked them! LOL!
