Thinking of surprising my hubby with a 40th trip to Orlando. We have family there we can stay with. I am thinking a day at Epcot (eating and drinking around the world). We have never been able to do that because our kids are always all about the rides. :)

I am open to other parks as well....any ideas? Best adult restaurant??

Epcot's a good choice, IMO. It's hard to stop and look at the shops and enjoy the ambiance when you've got kids tugging you along to the next ride. One of my favorite parts of my solo trip for the Dark Side Half last year was being able to wander through Epcot at my own speed.

The usual suspects for restaurants would probably be Le Cellier in Canada or Monsieur Paul in France, maybe Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco if you want to go a bit further from typical American/European food. But, really, find a country that has something you'd like and can't/wouldn't get at home.

Epcot would certainly be a good choice.

As far as Epcot restaurants, my first thought is Le Cellier. Depending on your mood and what you are looking for in anniversary dinner atmosphere a slightly different suggestion would be Biergarten. Or Teppan Edo. Another possibility is to spend the day exploring the World Showcase and for dinner wander out the International Gateway to the Epcot resorts and consider the Flying Fish on the Boardwalk. Or the Yachtsman over at the Yacht Club. Then wander back into Epcot for Illuminations.
Wishing you Happy Anniversary and a pixiedust: visit!
