Also, it's a good thing that park is a drug free zone. I used to having to pay for drugs in my local parks.

Wait, this is San Francisco and there are concerns about possibly weird adults behaving weirdly in public? In San Francisco, CA? One of our nation's proud capitols of public weirdness? I lived there for a while in the 1990's, and, from what I could tell, people move there specifically to be weird in public. There are a very few places you can hang out there that you can be sure you won't see naked people with purple hair riding flaming Mad Max bicycles up and down the street. Hey, they may even have their kids with them. Being wacky is a family activity in San Francisco. I think if you were to call the parks department to report adults on a scavenger hunt in a children's park, they would politely laugh their heads off.

Neither would I. It was clear they were doing some sort of activity and it sounds like a lot of fun. I can't imagine making an issue of it and contacting the organizer of the event.

I am just grateful I live somewhere sane enough to not pass rules restricting people of any age from playing on a public play structure. Geez. I can't imagine. And then to bother with calling two different places to report adults being there for a few minutes to take photos, and even slide and jump? Yeah, this is just so not my world. I LIKE adults who can play and be silly and enjoy a playground along with kids.

I probably would have offered to take a group picture for them
