Adults at MVMCP

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for a plan of attack for two adults doing MVMCP for the first time?

We plan to arrive around 4pm after a late lunch, do some rides, and grab a snack at Cosmic Ray's to eat while waiting in line for Twas the Night Before Christmas at 6:15.

We're both "big kids" but are any of the shows strictly geared towards children that we could miss?

Presumably it would be better for us to see the second parade?

Be sure to to see all the live shows we think they are great.Be sure to catch the Christmas version of CBJ.I agree catch the second parade and also see Wishes.Get your free family photo early to avoid longer ques later in the evening,at that time you will also get your free MVMCP button.Enjoy the snow on Main Street.We're going to MVMCP on 7th and 9th this year.Have a great time

We (Mom and I) will be there the 9th, and I know nothing about the party. I'm sure we'll have a great time with the holiday atmosphere, but I'd love to hear any suggestionss people have about how to enjoy.

I don't even know what shows there are! I'm assuming allearsnet.com has that info... going to check now.

Get your party photo taken as soon as you can...lines seem to get longer as the night goes by.

I stuck around until midnight to see the last show in front of the castle. Then stuck around afterwards. I was one of the last people to leave the park. It seemed like I had main street all to myself. Plus no traffic jam


I rode rides like splash mtn during the first parade. Rode 5 times in a row without having to get off because there was NO line.
Rode BMTR 3 times in a row without getting off. Caught the parade the 2nd time they ran it that night.

DH and I went in 2001. We took our picture first, caught a few shows and did the last parade. We also enjoyed riding a lot of the fantasyland attractions we normally wouldn't wait in line for...Dumbo, the speedway, etc. It was great! There were characters EVERYWHERE so we got lots of great pictures! We really enjoyed MVMCP!
