Care said:Thanks brightspark. I wasn't sure whether there are companions for the characters as they make their rounds in restaurants and around the theme parks. I'll definitely ask if they wouldn't mind taking a photo or two for me.

Yes - all the characters have attendants on hand, even in the dining locations. Look for the cm's wearing a white/yellow shirt with Mickey sketches and black pants. If it is cold out - they might be wearing a black and red letterman style jacket with a pointing Mickey hand on the back. (And yes - I am familiar with this costume for a reason!!)
As for any adult that feels hesitant about approaching the characters - PLEASE don't. EVERYONE is more than welcome. (I have even been known to stand in a few lines on my days off.)

You go girl!Brightspark... It's just 5 weeks until my holidays. I head to Disney on Jan 15 for 7 nights. I'm so excited! I just bought a plastic (disposable) rain poncho yesterday specifically for the trip. I've been told that I'm acting like a little kid just before Christmas morning![]()
Belle62442... There are so many characters that I want to see and meet, but if I had to choose just 5, I'd have to say: Mickey and Minnie, Pooh, Cinderella and Donald. This probably explains why I've signed up for almost every character dining experience, including Cinderella's Royal Table, for the time that I'm there. Believe it or not, I've even been looking around for a little tiara!![]()
Stumbling upon the DIS forums has been the best thing to happen for my Disney holiday. Most of my friends and colleagues, plus my parents/sisters think I'm a bit odd for being so eager to go a place for little kids. Being able to share my enthusiasm here has been just awesome.
