This is a spin-off of the "adult shoes" thread.
Does anyone have recommendations for where to find inexpensive school uniform shoes in adult sizes? It never even crossed my mind until reading through that other thread, but sure enough the shoes I had been buying DD12 aren't available in her size now (women's 7). I've found a few brands that have "extended" sizes that would work for this year but they're expensive - at least twice what I'd been paying at Payless up until now. And going with extended youth sizes will leave me right back in this same position as soon as she grows another size.
Surely someone makes a basic flat or very low-heeled Mary Jane in women's sizes that doesn't cost $40+. Right?
